My Practice
I became a clinical social worker with the goal of empowering individuals through empathy, understanding, and practical skills. I chose to specialize in trauma because it has provided me the skills to facilitate profound healing.
I’ve gained extensive knowledge of how traumatic events affect the brain, body, and relationships, and I use that knowledge to create a safe, predictable therapeutic environment where clients can process painful memories, learn regulation skills, and rebuild a coherent sense of self. I utilize several evidence-based approaches in my practice, such as trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic therapies, and attachment-informed interventions. I prioritize safety, consent, pacing, and collaboration, recognizing that healing is nonlinear and that symptoms are adaptive responses rather than pathologies to be fixed.
This work has shown me the awesome power of the human spirit. I hope that my patients continue to learn as much from me as I have from them.
“And the time came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

What to expect
Removes geographic barriers. Virtual sessions make it easier to keep appointments during travel, relocation, or health-related disruptions. Michigan residency is the only requirement.
Receiving therapy in a familiar environment can reduce anxiety about attending sessions and make it easier to open up.
Eliminating commute time and associated expenses (transportation, parking, childcare) reduces the overall cost of accessing care.
